1.0.0 drops support for python <3.9, while we still use 3.8 in the Dockerfile

@goat-ssh So what do you want to do with it? Not upgrade this and ignore future upgrades? Or update Python?

Updating python was already on the list, but there are open PRs: https://github.com/crate/crate-operator/pull/549 https://github.com/crate/crate-operator/pull/654

Maybe someone should pick those first.
