Use go modules

Hello Dmitriy,

Inspired by an improvement made by another pivot Andrew Garner @abg last summer (see this commit), I've added a go.mod file in order to use go modules.

Here I upgraded to the latest versions of the dependencies. Tests are passing properly.

Can we pull this patch in the master branch?
