I have the opposite issue on my Nokia 6.1 (Android Pie) - messages I send from QKSMS aren't reaching recipients.

@kksubbu Sorry, I think that was some sound issue on this particular system. It works with -vm-sound-pulse on both this system (needed to restart PA, for some reason) and another...

It's possible my contact was using an older version. It's also possible it was device-specific - I can't reproduce it again. 😔

I too am facing this bug. Lispy version 0.27.0 (20210702.1206 from MELPA) GNU Emacs 27.1 (build 1, x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.24.24, cairo version 1.16.0) of 2021-03-28, modified by Debian

The same also occurs for text files without extensions, e.g. .stignore files for Syncthing.
