Also, I'm wondering if that should go on the blog - or as a new "Getting Started" section under the documentation?

I'm not sure as well that the format of this section should be a blog itself

referencing blogs doesn't imply to be a blog post itself. Because usually blog post is a one-shot publication while here we want to add all articles we're finding along the way
