We're seeing this problem on our website as well, for all letters with that "bar" accent over them (such as ū). It only seems to be an issue in Chrome.

I think this might be fixed in the current version of the font; when I go to the main page for the font (https://indestructibletype.com/Jost.html) and enter text with the "problem"...
