IDE autocomplete not works when the free daily completions reaches the limit

  • TabNine extension version: 3.2.3

Everybody knows vscode has a powerful JS autocomplete and TabNine turn it AMAZING. But when the free daily completions reaches the limit, the TabNine stops and the vscode autocomplete stops too. Some suggetion boxes appear but when i click to complete, doesn't works.

Hi @franciscosvargas, can you please share a screen recording of the issue? It is best to try to complete a method name (where vscode suggestions are usually shown)

Note that the editor's suggestion is presented as a second option, which causes productivity problems.

Hi @franciscosvargas ! Thanks for the video. From what I see, only the Tabnine suggestions stop working after the limit was reached. Am I wrong? Do you see that non Tabnine suggestions also stop showing? Thanks

After the free completion times of the day are used up, the tab key defaults to the first completion content to be tabnine, but the completion function is not available at this time. I hope to automatically turn off the recommendation function after the number is used up again.

Agree with @tanwanming .

This Tabnine BUG/feature makes me annoyed, so I have to disable Tabnine. Hope to fix this problem by simply not presenting the completion suggesstion when free completion times of the day are used up.

i just ran into this issue when the daily limit is reached but the first suggestion continues to be tabnine, it is very annoying and makes me want to disable tabnine completely. is there a solution for it already?

@EliCodesForFun there is no daily limit, so I am not sure what you're experiencing. Happy to learn more, can you please provide additional details.

Nvm, it was more with how it turns off the autocomplete. Someone told me it's because of how the API works. Never mind.
