Memo not Saved Unless Three or More Splits

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

1. Open the split editor for a simple transaction with only two splits.

2. Enter text into a Memo field.

3. Save the transaction.

Expected behaviour

There Memo text is there.

Actual behaviour

The Memo text is not there.

Software specifications

• GnuCash Android version: 2.2.0
• System Android version: 6.0.1
• Device type: Blackberry Priv

@BroMattMiller I was just looking into this issue. I cannot reproduce it. I opened an existing transaction, added a memo and saved it. The memo was saved.

Note that memos are not usually displayed in the transaction detail view. Only the split amount and account. But if you open the split editor again, you will see the memo.

Or did I misundertand you?
