Style files not working for Word (2019) for Microsoft 365

I copied the style files into the Bibliography style directory. But Word did not recognise them and no new styles appeared in the drop-down menu inside Word. When I added

<xsl:when test="b:OfficeStyleKey">
            <xsl:text>%STYLE NAME%</xsl:text>
</xsl:when>

inside the .xsl file, then Word recognised the style.

I have the same problem; the styles don't show up for me. Your solution doesn't work for me either, though I'm not sure I am 100% sure about what you did.

I put the .xsl file into both file locations from the readme for the current 365.

I just tried and it DOES show up for 365. Make sure you are in the correct folder and you DOWNLOADED THE RAW file. Do not right-click and save. That XSL files has github XML all over the place and makes it not show up in Word. However there are other failings. It does not recognize 'Films' and if you have a document that uses 1.5" margins on the left side (like in my disseration), it seems to incorrectly format the entire citation in brackets across multiple lines.

I have the same problem, I am using MS office 2016 and all new styles are not recognized and completely ignored by Word. The proposed fix of @jameshbailie did not work for me. I used the two folders as explained in md but no chance.. anyone can help, thank you
