Installed on Android TV Box, keep getting something on screen

So I have quickly tested the app on an Android TV Box (the idea is to use it on TVs that run on android tv), but there is something on screen all the time, some text that says "faces seen:0" and sometimes a message "screen locked" will pop up and go away after flickering a few times. can these be disabled?
