Suggestion: Linux Support?

Tried running uMod in Linux (Lubuntu specifically) but unfortunately due to the 
software's own dll needs, it doesn't work with Guild Wars (where I've tested 
it).

TexMod v0.9b works fine under Linux WINE.  ^_^

A friend of my got uMod 1 working with Wine and GW. Well not realy working. 
uMod injected the game but GW used DX8.1 and therefore nothing worked.

I have many problems under Windows so this problems must wait. Sorry for that.

Hi,

No problem with that.  It's more of a long-term suggestion and in any case, 
high-end graphics games is still few in Linux - maybe once Steam launches the 
official ports it will pick up but then again, not every game allows 
uMod/texmod use so still few.

hi,

I think steam won't support games under WINE. They might support OpenGL games, 
that run under Linux without WINE, but uMod does not support OpenGL, but only 
DirectX9.
