unable install the plugin.

I trying to install the plugin . i am getting following error . Can anyone help me on this.

/usr/share/elasticsearch/bin/elasticsearch-plugin install org.codelibs:elasticsearch-dataformat:7.6.0 -> Downloading org.codelibs:elasticsearch-dataformat:7.6.0 from maven central [=================================================] 100%   ERROR: elasticsearch directory is missing in the plugin zip
