Hi, We want to use this for our production environment in Elasticsearch2.x for our enterprise customers. Here are couple of questions:

1. Is it a open source ?
2. Anybody has experience using it in production grade ?

It is not an open source license (OSI) but a free software license (FSF) originally. They are pretty similar.
