Difference between .gram and .dict?

Hi!

Great demo and amazing open source software! Im struggling to put together the difference between a .gram and .dict files.

In the demo, we have multiple grammar files containing different subsets, all of which are included in the dict file. Why cant we simply use a dict alone?
