bug (cdk-codepipeline-slack): Duplicate Slack notifications for CodePipeline

Hi,

Since the last 2 months, I've been seeing duplicate notifications for CodePipeline actions. Sometimes there are 2 notifications, sometimes there are 3 of them. But, only the last one of those is updated as the pipeline progresses.

Before I dive any deeper into figuring our why this might be happening, I wanted to check with you all if you have seen this, are aware of it, or have any clues to what might be causing this issue.
