what is Civitai Link Key?
It's a 6 character key used to connect your civitai account to your SD instance so you can add/remove resources from it and generate images while you browse the site. We haven't rolled out the feature to the public yet, it's still in internal testing. We're hoping to give Supporters early access next week.
Shouldn't it be "Your Civitai Link Key" so it isn't confused with the API key? Since, as I understand, they are 2 separate things.

i know, but when i delete Civitai Link Key value, it still can't login by api key

Is the CivitAI user link key available now? If so, where is it located? Thank you very much.
Also trying to find my civitai liink key. Joining in to be updated. So far, I can only create an API key.

Civitai Link is still in Alpha and currently only available to supporters. If you become a supporter, you'll see a new icon in your nav bar:
By clicking on the link icon, you'll be able to connect Civitai to your SD instance and it will give you a link key.
I did that and signed up for monthly support membership, I followed all the instructions (a few times) but it won’t connect. When I add my link key and click “apply settings” is says “0settings changed”. I reload the UI and even tried shutting it down completely and re launched A1111 and still not connected. I noticed when I got back to settings my link key isn’t there anymore.
Is the other CivitAI Helper having a conflict with it??

It's been a while since I updated the CivitAI Helper. Let me update that now and see if it causes conflicts.
When you start A1111, you should see something like this when the Civitai extension starts:
Can you copy that and paste it here? It'll help with debugging.

i have same issue subscribe but still not able to connect sd instance to civitai...

For those who actually wonder how it works:
1.Yes, you need a subscribtion and yes it's still in ALPHA.
2.Upon completing the purchase, right-hand top side there is a PC icon , click it.
3.It will guide you through the process.
4.Reloading the UI after installation, loaded for me all the Previews, settings, etc.

Hey @tobbi64 have you tried logging out and back in? Also, what does your membership section say?
hello, please help me. I have a link key, an API key, the civitai icon in the top right corner has a green pulsating dot, but I don't have a tab. there is no civitai tab. automatic 1111 locally installed on macos.

@tobbi64 thanks for sharing those screenshots. Looks like you got stuck in a weird state, "incomplete", we've gotten you unstuck and if you log out and back in it should work.
