Proposal: Add categories to packages
This should help with topic searches in the store. Categorize each package below description ...:
category: <category> where <category> is one or more of:
- administration
- audio
- communication
- databases
- development
- display
- documentation
- download manager
- editors
- education
- electronics
- embedded
- fonts
- games
- graphics
- languages
- libraries
- mathematics
- miscellaneous
- network
- os
- science
- shells
- sound
- text
- utilities
- vcs
- video
- web
Any missing categories are welcome in the comments.
@uberhacker, there is no way this is going to happen. We have no basis for the store, and the only developer actively working on it doesn't know what he's doing (No offense, @sajjaadf). He's not even using the packages themselves to abstract the package names/icons.
Who said he was the only one working on a store? ;)
May I see your code? I might be able to make some suggestions. I used to be a big HTML enthusiast in 6'th grade.
It's not written in HTML.
All right. May I see it?

Still very much a wip.
First of all, use https in homepage. More secure.
Why should I care if the homepage is secure or not? It's only a homepage.
add "Downloaders"
@sajjaadf That would fit into "web".
