Tmux Navigator not working with CodeWhisperer

After installing the Fig replacement, CodeWhisperer, it would seem that the Tmux Navigator no longer works alongside NeoVim.

Unfortunately this plugin seems to be incompatible with Fig (see https://github.com/christoomey/vim-tmux-navigator/issues/339 for notes and potential workarounds). As I'm not a fig user myself I've not had an opportunity to investigate to understand the root cause.
