Can you build audiowaveform with an `amazon/aws-lambda-nodejs:20` container rather than `amazonlinux:2023`? In https://github.com/bbc/audiowaveform/issues/201#issuecomment-2078875992, can you capture stdout and stderr to see if any more detail is output?
Thanks! This question comes up so often, it would be really helpful to have a complete example project and step by step guide written up somewhere.
The main reason is that I don't use audiowaveform with Lambda so I haven't had a need to produce binaries, so there's work involved ;-) If I did create binaries...
I got this working with Rollup 3.x, see https://github.com/chrisn/rollup-plugin-peer-deps-external/ - also available in NPM at https://www.npmjs.com/package/@chrisneedham/rollup-plugin-peer-deps-external. @pmowrer You're welcome to take the changes I made to publish your own update.

Can we merge this PR? It would be good to have an explainer in place for when @alastor0325 is ready to create a spec.
It's currently on a branch on this repo, so the idea would be to merge to `main` here. But, if the explainer doesn't reflect current thinking, we should redraft.
