Sometimes extract sometimes doesn't?

I always get the popup for 7zip but it doesn't always extract. Any idea what could cause this?

@strombergr Can you explain with more detail what : “sometimes” means

• do you do things differently when it’s working?
• did you check it’s not a permission issue? Can you extract the file manually?
• which user are you using to extract the file?

Did you check if the settings for simple extractor are still set when it’s not working. If not, this might be a side-effect of #9 or related to issue #4

I can confirm this issue happens to me as well.

I don't do anything differently I can extract manually I've deployed deluge on docker. I can start a bash shell in this docker and run unrar manually. It works fine.

Linux container. Multiple part rars, usually have a .rar file.

abc.r01 abc.r02 abc.rar

abc.part01.rar abc.part02.rar abc.part03.rar
