No Published Ports and no GUI?
Have updated the one container but can't open the GUI anymore?
As well I see "org.opencontainers.image.version | 2022.02.1" (same version stated at PIHOLE_DOCKER_TAG), but the latest is 2022.04.3?
Already retried duplicate/edit in Portainer to pull latest image and update, but so far nothing changed?
Try pulling the 2022.04.3 tag directly instead of using latest and see if things work? If so you'll need to figure out what's wrong with your image cache for the latest tag (I don't know a lot about how portainer works so I can't offer much advice there).
@Chocka I had the same issue. Check your logs. If you see something about a script file not being found, try changing your entry point to /bin/bash,-c,./s6-init as that was the problem for me.
See this in log : "/bin/bash: line 1: ./start_unbound_and_s6_init.sh: No such file or directory"
Sorry for asking, but how or what to do about to try changing your entry point to.... Must/can I do this with duplicate/edit within Portainer?
@Chocka Yea, just go to your pihole-unbound container and click "Duplicate/Edit". Then scroll down until you see "Advanced Container Settings". You can change your entry point there. Refer to the screenshot below:
First changed the entrypoint, but got an error
Than I deleted the "unused" latest image and try again. After deploy there was no error, but the container wasnot updated?
[edit] Is there a way to extract env options, so I can create a docker run from it? May be I can stop; rm and docker run the container by SSH, as it may be will do as with portainer so far it won't work?
[edit#2] Just removed container and image via SSH, after I tried with Github page and your answer to deploy new container, but is was only stated as "created" ?
So a second time removed "created"container and image, but now just only deploy container. Seems to work (?)
Only do not know if the "env" are OK? because I didn't set them? And still can't open a portal in my webbrowser? But as I try some website known about ads like cnn and microsoft, seems the pihole-unbound is working, because I get zero ads.
