Looks like you need to install LWP::Protocol::https:

➜  DigitalOcean-DDNS git:(master) ./update.pl
API call failed: 501 Protocol scheme 'https' is not supported (LWP::Protocol::https not installed) at ./update.pl line 42.

What OS / linux distro are running this in? Do you have the "libssl-dev" package installed?
