CMS: Records 12100 and 12101 without corresponding CMSSW release image
See https://opendata.cern.ch/record/12100 and https://opendata.cern.ch/record/12101 - these point to https://github.com/cms-opendata-analyses/JetNtupleProducerTool where it states that CMSSW_8_0_26 is required. There is no corresponding container image available for this release and I'm not sure the (generally limited) VM works either.
FYI @katilp (I was pointed to this the other day by someone who wanted to give this a shot)
VM worked in the slc6-based "CMS Shell" for 2015 data and CMSSW_7_6_7. It does have a more recent shell and it could work for more recent releases but I have not verified it.
There's another ML sample for which we do not have the corresponding container
- 2018 MC: CMSSW_10_2_5 - GT: 102X_upgrade2018_design_v9 e.g https://opendata-qa.cern.ch/record/12303
These both (8_0_26 and 10_2_5) are listed in the condition data guide which I'm updating.
I can request these images and we can add them to the OD image collection. I see that they both have slc6 and slc7 versions. Do you know which ones are to be used?
Correcting: the condition data access was certainly tested at the time of the release, but that test was not done on a container but in the VM or in the lxplus singularity shell.
Do you know which ones are to be used?
I'd think it's always the older one that's validated, but I don't know for sure.
