Drastic decrease in Hashing.

Hello, I've been using CGMINER since I began mining. However I downloaded CUDA for MAC (macbook pro 2012) to test it out. On CG I was getting 23 combined Kh/s. On CUDA (i know nothing of the command line yet) but it was only using 1 gpu (device 0) and giving me 63 KH.s on avg. Now all of the sudden I'm getting 15 kh/s and there was no changes.

Any idea why it suddenly changed on me? The autotune is not giving me the same output code but I don't remember what the first one was.

I don't know your GPU model, I don't know which cudaminer builds you are comparing.

All I know is that I've removed the legacy kernel support for very old GPUs in the later cudaminer versions. The code was a pain to maintain.

*** CudaMiner for nVidia GPUs by Christian Buchner *** This is version 2014-02-28 (beta) based on pooler-cpuminer 2.3.2 (c) 2010 Jeff Garzik, 2012 pooler Cuda additions Copyright 2013,2014 Christian Buchner

I've been running this CUDAMINER for about a week. It's the only one I ever installed. Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB Yes I know it's not great but I'm only 2 months old into mining. My Gridseed Dualminer will be here shortly.

Originally, even today, I was getting 63 KH.s now randomly I get 15-16 average. This is what I'd get using one of my GPU's on CGMiner. With both I got 23 to 28 on CGMINER. I just don't understand how it could've randomly changed.

[2014-03-26 00:36:16] GPU #0: 16882.23 hash/s with configuration K4x32 I WAS running a different configuration before (this is what I see after restarting).

Resetting MACs SMC seemed to have fixed the issue.
