Request: SNMP-Backend

Hi!

How great it would be to have a SNMP backend! Idea behind it: SNMP is THE standard for monitoring via ethernet. With a SNMP backend one would be able to convert existing protocols to SNMP OIDs, which then could be used with monitoring tools like cacti or prtg. In my actual case I'd like to monitor and record a DMX-value with cacti, which uses SNMP. Maybe there is a workaround to write a plugin for cacti to do that, but with a SNMP-backend in midimonster one could use all those SNMP-sensors to measure e.g. temperature and convert that value to DMX, MIDI, mouse or any other backend protocol. That would open the door to a great new world.
