More learning resources
Hi Rene,
some more learning resources for the page. Thanks for picking this topic up.
- https://community.sap.com/topics/cloud-application-programming - Community Page with many more cross references
The three learning journeys should also be mentioned
- https://learning.sap.com/learning-journey/build-side-by-side-extensions-on-sap-btp - Again FE + CAP on BTP with deployment but also CICD service
- https://learning.sap.com/learning-journey/developing-an-sap-fiori-elements-app-based-on-a-cap-odata-v4-service - Is more Fiori elements focused with also covering ALP, Flexible Programming model, Filters, Navigation concept and more
- https://learning.sap.com/learning-journey/develop-applications-running-on-sap-btp-using-sap-hana-cloud - Is a Full Stack tutorial covering Hana Cloud, SQLScript, JobScheduling Service, plain Ui5 apps but also basics like GIT and cds modelling
There are full stack sample with Fiori and in my opinion there should also be a full stack section as this is the real world then:
- https://developers.sap.com/group.dsag-cloud-dev-day-cf.html - FE + CAP + Access control + Deployment
- https://developers.sap.com/group.btp-app-cap-create.html - Freestyle + FE
- https://developers.sap.com/mission.btp-application-cap-e2e.html - Best full stack tutorial if you want to deploy your FE + CAP app on BTP. Its the risk management sample, but with explanations to get the job done
- https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/btp-app-ext-service-add-consumption.html - Good guide for consuming external services - business partner scenario
Hi Marten, Thank you for your proposals! I guess you've done all those learnings: Can you describe shortly for each, what the WOW moment was for you? Surely each one closed a gap or made a connection that you were missing before, right? And I'd like to point that out for others as well. Thanks, René
Hi Rene, I added a sentence to each. Would that already be enough? But I have to say especially the developers courses are partially redundant and someone should definitely check if they cannot be aligned for greater consistency / included in the main learning journeys on learning.sap.com
Thanks Marten, I'll take your proposals for a review. As our page should contain only selected items, what would your Top 3 of your learning sources be?
With developers courses you mean the learning journeys, right? Not the tutorials?
Thanks - yes I mean the learning journeys
