the plugin template in fact does not need any code changes to support HB 2.0

when reporting a plugin here for the wiki, please also keep us updated on any fixed versions so that we can keep the lists properly updated

I give up on the esm idea for now, and settle with what is now in this PR! @hjdhjd @Supereg ready for any review you have time to give 😆
