Conspicuous fork

Hello @mart-w, thank you for your interest in the project.

I noticed you created a fork a few days ago, and somehow it's missing the most recent commit. Can you clarify what happened there?

Hi there! No worries, I have no bad intentions. I recently recommended your app to someone and saw that it's no longer listed in any app store, so I decided to look if the repo is still out there somewhere. That way, I could point that person to your source code so they can build the app themselves. I did that and that’s when I found out about the issues you recently had.

It's terrible that you had to go through that and I'm sad that you decided to unlist the app and no longer develop it as Free Software, but I can absolutely understand where it's coming from. It only takes a couple of people to not play by the rules by blatantly stealing code and acting in toxic ways to turn a whole community sour, and there have, understandably so, been countless developers before who eventually caved and resigned, taking their projects with them. Seeing you take what feel like the first steps of shutting this project down, I was worried that the same might happen to your app.

I forked the app as a precaution in case your repo were to ever go down, and omitted the last commit to preserve the repo in the last state where it was properly published under a Free license. I don’t intend to abuse your code or sell it under my own name -- frankly, I'm not even looking to develop it further as I have no real experience creating smartphone apps. I just wanted to make sure that the last Free version of your app remains available if anything happens. And I didn't want to make a big deal out of it as I still have hope that you see some future for this project.

Thank you a lot for your work. As far as I'm aware of, this is the only current and fully functional TaskWarrior client out there and I'd love to see it thrive. It's such a pity that there seem to always be people who try to ruin it for everyone.
