:value in merge tag in confirmation not working when populating dropdown with taxonomy

Hi there, when populating a drop down with a taxonomy the :value merge tag filter does not work. It just returns the normal label value instead of the value value.

Any ideas why? Or where I could start looking? Thanks, Sascha
