Howdy not showing up on authentication pop up...

I am using Fedora 40 with windows 11 dual boot, Howdy works fine with terminal and on lock screen but not showing up when 'Authentication Required' screen pops up. Screenshot from 2024-08-28 11-42-29

I've searched for similar issues already, and my issue has not been reported yet.

Linux distribution (if applicable):Fedora 40

Howdy version (sudo howdy version): Howdy 2.6.1

sadly, no... but it works fine on lock screen and on terminal so, i am happy with it.

howd you get lockscreen working? i tried adding the recommended lines to /etc/pam.d/gdm-password but to no avail
