Some sites only loading text format
I am now trying 5.0.6 on iOS. It is generally Working well but one a number of sites that I browse, it seems safari only seems to be a text mode site. One that almost looks like a ten year ago mobile site on older Nokia phones.
These sites include
Bloomberg.com Espn.com Bleacherreport.com
Not sure how or why?
Hey, As I understand, it happens only when Blokada is enabled? Did you try Blokada being off? Which lists did you enable in Blokada? Which DNS server is set for you?
hi,
Yes it has never happened before on the 4-5 other ad blockers I been using on and off. Only on Blokada. My wife iphone XR also has the same issue. The thing is its not consistent. sometimes the same site has no issues and other times yes. The VPN is 127.0.0.1 connect on demand.
I tried switching each on and off and could not consistently find out which is causing the issue. When blokada is totally of, there is no problem.
It seems like it happens less when only Energized and duckduckgo enabled causes the less issues.

The 127.0.0.1 is the loopback IP address; if you don't run a VPN server on your phone, this IP address won't be used for VPN. Which lists did you enable? Did you, by any chance, bypass the websites where you saw this misbehaviour? If yes, do you face the exact same issue?
Hi,
Please see the picture of what i see. The text format and when i disable blokada which then loads the full site. I tried the load desktop site option and also still usually see the text format for these sites. So disable blokada, and reload and the site loads fine. enable blokada, the sometimes it will show the text format and other times it loads fine.. then after awhile, the text format will be the norm. Still can see any pattern. But this behaviour only happens on maybe 10-15% of the sites I visit. bloomberg.com, bleacherreport.com, espn.com and straitstimes.com are some of the common ones

It seems, some third-parties css are blocked.
Did you get this error with OISD hostlist (Blokada new default) instead of Energized?
