Something is messing up your pin allocations. Check that. I am using it without issues.

Check pin manager.

Try other pins. 4 & 5 are usually I2C and may come preallocated. Also post your config file (cfg.json).

@guardmedia could you talk to @constant-flow about making this a usermod? It has a much greater chance of being merged that way and since both of your solutions work complementing...
