Gateway selection / preference and grouping of assets

I saw the market overview which pops-up like this: image

Did you discuss somewhere how to deal with the various gateway assets?

@sschiessl-bcp We will tend to keep pairs from various gateways based on health/status of the liquidity/trading volume, but one thing is clear - there are no favorites to be listed. For now, it's still open discussion.

My point is independent of which gateways are listed, but how it is shown.

Right now you are merely showing "BTC". Which gateway is that? How does the user select or choose which gateway? How will it be displayed in the header, and in the market rows?

  1. BTC is not a gateway, but a name of a crypto-currency. DEX re-inventing BTC in mutliple variants is option only known to DEX users. To maximize adoption and simplicity for the newcomers it will just stay BTC on the markets (Something OL or DEX never did to maximize adoption).
  2. User will be able to select gateway from the settings page. Based on selected gateway will have those prices and liquidity on the markets, but at the front-end it will still remain BTC.

Which gateways will be available as final will be discussed as part of 2 of this worker. When there is more input on which market is fake and which real, which gateways has stable deposits/withdrawals, and which of them are actually legit. Not all will be available.
