bigchaindb + ethereum example

Hey all - I'm really interested in using bigchaindb as a complementary off-chain storage solution for an Ethereum dAPP but I have no idea where to start. Are there any resources out there that might help me get started? Would this be a good place to provide an example of such an integration?
