automatic project refresh animation is distracting

If I manually ask for a project refresh, it's great for it to indicate when it's completed. When it's automatically refreshing (say, every 5 min.), the “refresh completed” flash is just distracting/annoying. I like the idea of having refreshed periodically, but I may have to just turn it off and do it manually to avoid the constant distraction.
