Will this addon continue to work after Signal discontinues SMS/Text messaging support?

This subject just about says it all. I was using HA's SMTP notification configuration to send messages via SMTP to my phone's SMTP address which means it would arrive as an SMS in Signal.

So, just a quick question about whether this addon will work after Signal stops support.
