handleAutoSaveChanges function is not getting triggered when editing text(NPM package)

In the demo app handleAutoSaveChanges seems to be working fine as state is getting updated but when I installed npm package it's not getting triggered

@mdaffan stick to version ^1.4.0

Thanks both - yeah that's right. The alpha releases were used for a very specific side use-case. We'll put out a proper release with some fixes hopefully in a few weeks when we have some dev time on this.
