Is it meant to jump back to the most recent stack trace?

Because it's.. really not the best way to roll - https://share.getcloudapp.com/mXuxQX6B - don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I can't view the stack trace without it skipping to the most recent stack... I have no idea how to use this thing but surely it shouldn't skip right?
