Heavy distortions in classygmaps

This is a picture from Google Street View:

And the same place from classygmaps:

Note how this straight highway is heavily distorted. It also happens in cities and basically everywhere where I have tested, specially with a low zoom level (a wider view).

This is a 'known' issue in the underlying Google Maps API https://code.google.com/p/gmaps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=6306

As it happens, I just looked at that, thread, and apprently there is now an experimental new renderer can try. But as only just found out about it, havent tried it in ClassyGaps yet.

Will give it a go when get a chance.
