It would add much to the visual appeal if it was possible to select in the wizard the font or font-family for the text around the map, and also the font and background colors.

The whole point of GlassyGMaps is to be FUNCTIONAL.

Function over form :)

Looking pretty isn't a design goal. Unlike Google Maps has become.

Thanks Barry. But the styles look so good. This would be a worldbeater if you could just extend styling to the other bits of the page. I see you've added a help wanted label, and if I knew any javascript I'd take the hint.

I tweaked a copy of the page to get a version that I like. classyscreenshot Of course, the object is for every user to be able to create a version that they like. I guess the way to do that would be to create a new wizard that writes a (fairly large) cookie. I'd have a go, but I'm a complete javascript newbie.
