classygmaps!! they are great already! hope google won't pull the plug on the api as well

I was very fond of the drag 'n zoom lab feature. Mayby that can be put on the list?

It shouldnt be two difficult, it has been released as a open-source library, which can be embedded in a API map http://google-maps-utility-library-v3.googlecode.com/svn/tags/keydragzoom/1.0/docs/examples.html

.. not used it before so dont know how well it works, will have to test.
