Streetview not working
Streetview does not appear to work. Dropping Pegman onto a road with Streetview results in nothing happening. I wonder if this has anything to do with issue #125 at all as I was having that problem too, but now that problem seems to be solved.
I also can't get streetview to work. The pegman can be moved to a spot but the drop-down asking what version one wanted is gone.
Street View is still not working. When I hover over a blue line I can see small thumbnail of the Street View but on dropping the pegman nothing happens.
Not working for me either, really hoping project hasn't been abandoned as new gmaps suck :(
Accidentally found a workaround though:
Drop the streetview pegman on an area where there's no streetview, this will give you an empty grey area where the streetview should be, then on the left hand menu under controls uncheck 'Street View (Pegman)' the re check it to bring back the pegman and then drop the pegman on an area with streetview and it works again.
Ziggzaggy. I've tried your workaround but when I get the empty grey area the left-hand men disappears, so I can't uncheck and recheck. I do notice that when the grey area is there the small box on the upper right appears again with the drop-down menu with Vertical Split and other views.

When you see the grey area you needed to uncheck and then recheck the "Street View (Pegman)" on the left menu under 'Controls'. Then if you look at the bottom right of the map you'll see the little yellow pegman, now pick him up and drag him to the area that you want to streetview and it will work. Streetview will then work normally untill you close the browser.
hey - what I said and say again is the left-hand column where things can be check and unchecked disappears on my system - as soon as the grey side appears.

Ah, in that case you could try a different browser or try downloading one of the older forks : https://github.com/aknik/classygmaps
Switching browsers doesn't help. But there is this oddity I mentioned at the beginning: when I move pegman to a non-streetview spot and half the screen goes grey, the drop-down box with kinds of views appears (which it wasn't before). So the left-hand column to check things is gone but the view-types are back. And if I switch the box to Full screen then zoom! streetview appears. Not every time but obviously it's there.
