Add for-the-badge style
Like this on https://shields.io/

Not a fan of for-the-badge style personally, it's too strong to fit in.
But we would create a similar one base on flat style & scale arg:
https://flat.badgen.net/badge/FOR/THE%20BADGE?scale=3&icon=appveyor
Maybe add an arg to transform all text to uppercase? 🤔
@amio ?scale could work for me 😆👌🏼
Maybe add an arg to transform all text to uppercase?
Yeah that's a good idea.
Just got here again about that.
Currently, they seem trending and I started to like them too. But the scale is pretty limited. I tried scale=1.5 but it's not working. The 2 is a lot bigger than the ForThaBadge. Also, the font is kind of thinner and somehow too basic.
ours:
(as a side note... for some reason, it doesn't accept %23 - the hash sign as subject)
Also looks like the last one is even bigger (in height?), depending on the length?

Good point too.
I tried scale=1.5 but it's not working.
It's a bug
for some reason, it doesn't accept %23
Another bug 😅
they seem trending
If it does get more widespread, we should add a dedicated style for it then, for consistency. But for now, let's just hold this for a while :D
Hi, just found this gem, fantastic work! The For The Badge theme is beautiful, and the lack thereof would be my only reservation to switch from shields.io. It's bold and creative, serving as more than an "indicator", used for example by the VS Code Material Theme, and even has an amusing site which I see used from time to time.
On a side note, would it be in the interest of this project to support something like https://simpleicons.org/ to allow for more than a select few?
@MarcusCemes you still can use simpleicons, pass an url to ANY SVG to the icon queryparam.
These are the default included https://github.com/badgen/badgen-icons/tree/master/icons I think.
This one do looks beautiful VS Code Material Theme ❤️

@MarcusCemes Yes I am planning for this 🤘
I see that we can change the background color of badge and also the labelColor, but the foreground color stays the same which is white color with light grey shadow. Is there a way we can change the font color to black or dark gray so that it becomes visible on a light grey or silver color background? I am trying to customize it to look like the Github scoring badge.

@ajaykumaran We have a plan on improving text color https://github.com/badgen/badgen/issues/67
