Deployment from source fails, from webpage deployment works

When trying to deploy from the source, following the instructions in the README, the deployment fails and CF rolls back. When deploying from https://docs.aws.amazon.com/solutions/latest/data-lake-solution/deployment.html and launching the CF template from there, the deployment goes through just fine. Is the source still up to date and is verified that deployment works?
