timestamp flag on model and input type on input forms

Hi, I noticed that if I create a model that does not handle timestamps it goes into error. Another thing I would like to suggest is the html input types. It can be improved, perhaps by handling checkboxes, vertical ratio, horizontal ratio, fixed combobox or table based combo box.
