INFO: matplotlib marker properties

This documents the properties that markers can have in matplotlib. See this link for a more complete list of scatter properties; some of the highlights are below.

marker	"o" (circle)	Marker symbol
c	Depends on the color cycle	Color of the marker -- can be single color or array
cmap	'viridis'	colormap to use for the markers.
norm, vmin, vmax	see documentation	parameters for applying colormap to data if cmap is used
alpha	none	marker opacities
s	unclear	Size of markers in points**2
linewidths	1.5	float or array, width of marker edges
edgecolors	face color	color or sequence of colors
