Are you the maintainer of f-droid.org/en/packages/com.asksven.betterbatterystats? Because I am not and so I can not trust that source.

Ah no sorry, I'm not the maintainer. I may have misunderstood it but from reading the fdroid package I had assumed that it was an official page built by them linked to this GitHub repo directly as the source but I may well have misunderstood that!
