unknown directive "rtmp" in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf

I've installed nginx-1.10.3. I've also downloaded nginx-rtmp-module from https://github.com/arut/nginx-rtmp-module/archive/master.tar.gz After unpacking I ran ./configure with --add-module=../nginx-rtmp-module-master After installing the nginx server woks, but when I add rtmp { } in the nginx.conf file I can't restart nginx: the error is "unknown directive "rtmp" in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf" All the nginx.conf file is:

Where did I make a mistake?

Для русскоговорящих. Я установила сервер nginx и модуль nginx-rtmp-module. Вообще, руководствовалась этим гайдом: https://www.dmosk.ru/instruktions.php?object=nginx-rtmp Всё шло хорошо, сам сервер nginx после установки работает исправно. Но после вставки директивы rtmp в nginx.conf nginx не перезапускается. Чуть выше я вставила весь nginx.conf. В логах ошибка unknown directive "rtmp" in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf Подскажите, с чем это может быть связано?

Have you tried to compile it as a dynamic module? I followed this guide with the exception of using the -o flag with my Nginx version. link. This works well for me.

write this in the terminal:

ln -s /usr/share/nginx/modules-available/mod-rtmp.conf /etc/nginx/modules-enabled/50-mod-rtmp.conf
