Request: Image Title and Description

Description of feature/request

Be able to choose between (or both of) Description and Title under Caption. e.g. "Title" or "Description" or "Title: Description"

This feature would be used to

Enhance all my coming photography sites.

If you added this feature, I would: b (have not hat nor cat)

a) Eat my hat b) Jump for joy c) Shave my cat d) All of the above

Sounds good, could you point me to the correct file to patch for now? Been searching but can't find where the texts under the image are set.

I would like to replace the item.title from file name to alternate text of the image. Where can I change that?

HI @glewe, alt text is not an option for direct output. WordPress uses the file name as an image's default title if a custom title is not set (e.g. when the image is uploaded).

See SLB's documentation for more details on how the title content is selected for the lightbox.
