I don't see any way of accessing appleseed log files at the moment. Allowing to write them to disk seems like an option. Thoughts?
 I always need to do it in two steps: 1. Uninstall blenderseed -> leads to the error above 2. Restart Blender, uninstall again -> uninstalls correctly
Currently, the add-on consistently brings Blender down with it when an incompatibility is detected and it shouldn't do that.
