Clear and concise description of the problem

I may be missing something but I cant find a way to do this.

While typing I often misspell words and would like a way to without touching my mouse and right clicking the word to show the autocorrect menu so that I could fix the misspelled word.

Suggested solution

A shortcut to open the autocorrect menu on the first word going backward from the cursor and auto scroll to that location if not in view. I worded it like that because spell checks seem to only happen after there is a space after the word.
